Happy Birthday The Best Daddy In The World

Dear Daddy, Tomorrow is your birthday… so I want to share my inner-most thoughts about you, with you. I am blessed with the best Daddy a girl could ask for. You have ALWAYS been there for me. You have always loved me, even when I wasn't so lovable. You are like my best friend. I love talking to you every day. One morning this week you called me when I got in my car to drive to work and we talked like we do most days...a little about everything that's going on in the world. I realized that our conversations mean so much to me. I am so fortunate to have a father like you. I love you more than words can express and I have NO doubt that you have unconditional love for me, the kind of love that fathers’ should have. Don't get me wrong, you have your faults like any other man, only they are minimized by all the beautiful characteristics only God can instill in a man. I’m honored to have been named after you. I have so many memories of me, you, and Jodie from a very young age. You taught us so many things... how to ride a bike, water ski, fish, driving a car (a stick), you took us hunting, and thousands of other things that have made me into the woman I am today. You spent so much time with me and Jodie, because you WANTED to, not because you were expected to. To this very day, you do everything in your power to keep me and Jodie close. You are always there to offer encouragement when I need it, and sometimes you still scold me, because you have always wanted nothing but the best for me. You are always completely honest with me...whether I like it or not. It means so much to me when you tell me that you pray for me each and every day.
