Baby Jacob

I have a wonderful little nephew named Jacob.  He is 9 months old.  He is such a wonderful little baby.  I never thought another little baby could steal my heart, but he definetly has.  He has a wonderful Mom, Elizabeth (my neice) and a loving grandmother, Lisa (my sister).  I am blessed to get to keep him occasionally and spend time with him.  He is always smiling and his smiles are contagious. He loves Uncle Ricky too!  I always look forward to seeing him.  He has a way of making the days troubles just melt away.  I look forward to being a part of his life and watching him grow. He is truly a ray of sunshine!

Parker

Parker is the sunshine of my life. He will graduate from Dillon Christian School on May 26th, 2011.  He hopes to attend St. Andrews College in the fall. It's so hard to imagine because it seems like he was just my little baby.  He has been such a blessing for me. He has always been a unique individual and definitely dances to the beat of his own drum.  Some days I miss him so bad, and he is only at school!   He is a wonderful son and I am so proud of him.  He has a passion for basketball and his dream is to play for the NBA one day.

He has a girlfriend named Katelyn and she is such a doll.  I could see her as my daughter-in-law one day. She has an infectious smile and she is a blast to be around.  She really makes Parker light up when she is in the room.  She is beautiful inside and out.  She is a real "Go Getter!"  She is a great student, a cheerleader, a softball player, and she manages to find time to maintain a part-time job. Needless to say, I am very impressed with her!  I hope she will be in the family for many years to share and make many memories.

Getting Started

Well I have finally started MY blog.  I don't do Facebook or MySpace but I have decided to do this for all of those people who say "You need to get on Facebook, so we can keep in touch."  I have alot to learn about blogging so everyone will have to be patient with me!  I think this will be fun so I'm looking forward to it!
