Today my niece Elizabeth (Lizzie) turned 18! She is officially an adult. It seems like only yesterday that I went to the hospital when she was born. I was 9 months pregnant myself and due any day. It freaked me out because she was almost 10 pounds at birth! Exactly 1 week later, Parker came and he was by no means a small baby himself. He and Lizzie share a bond (I believe) because they were born so close in time. She will always have a special place in his heart (and mine).
Time has flown, and she has blossomed into a beautiful young lady. She is funny, witty, and a great mom to baby Jacob. I am so blessed to be her aunt. It seems like only yesterday that her Mom baked an 18th birthday cake for me and Jodie. I love you Lizzie, and I look forward to watching as you continue to spread your wings and fly!
